Hello and thank you for visiting!  I am an urban forester in San Francisco, where I care for street trees for a local non-profit, and a high school teacher.  I post information on plants, trees, related news, events, what to grow, and other green-related topics.  I have many horticultural interests, especially arboriculture and plants native to the American West (primarily, but not limited to, California).  Life often gets in the way of writing new posts, but I have many ideas for more topics to post in the near future (now all I need is extra time).
